With family roots as an excavating contractor, Spectra Tech LLC has evolved into a specialty contractor focusing on the rehabilitation of water and wastewater structures. Ownership consists of a father and two sons with spousal support as needed. Spectra Tech currently operates four full service spray rigs with two prep trucks for larger projects and employs approximately 20 people. Spectra Tech LLC was the 1st licensed applicator back in 2003 outside the state of Florida and north of the Mason-Dixon line.
Our crews are OSHA safety and confined space certified on an annual basis. A company drug testing program is maintained to meet the increasingly stringent requirements to enter into any municipal or industrial environment to perform our work. Past projects with nationally recognized entities including Chrysler, GM, Toyota, Eli Lilly, Krispi Kreme and others make up our customer base. Military installations including Crane Naval Center, Grissom Air Base, Ft. Knox, and Ft Leonard Wood to name a few have come to rely on our solution for their wastewater manhole and lift station protection needs.
Gulf Coast Underground, LLC, is a full service “find and fix” sewer rehabilitation contractor. Since 2003, GCU has provided honest and dependable, long-term rehabilitation solutions across Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. In 2014, we are proud to add Tennessee and Georgia to that list. Our firm began as a digging contractor, then evolved into a “trenchless” contractor performing manhole and wet well rehab. Over the years, GCU has expanded it’s services to include: full system SSES, cured-in-place pipe, and main to lateral connection seals. All of our rehabilitation methods have unparalleled track records and are trenchless (no-dig) so as to cause minimal sewer service disruption. From the outset, GCU was built upon relationships and our top priority has been and will continue to be to serve our clients with professionalism, provide them with cost and time saving solutions, and prove ourselves to be a trusted technical resource.
